Living in a world where fear is stoked daily by news and social media, I believe that most people struggle with fear and despair. It’s also my belief that one can consciously choose a mindset rooted in love rather than fear. I encourage everyone to observe their world view and ask themselves how it came about. Was it programmed by others? Was it learned? Was it consciously adopted?

What about our biggest fear: death? In what ways does one’s attitude regarding an afterlife influence one’s mindset and moral code.

What about love? Can love be adequately defined to one who is oblivious to love? Is love dependent on an individual’s circumstances? Is love necessary for happiness? Does love have power? Is it necessary for survival?

How do love and fear affect our minds and bodies?  What are the various ways they influence our thoughts, behavior, health, relationships, morality, and our world view. Of course love Is the best choice.

So, is it possible to change our mindset to love?

To me, the answer is YES. We humans are not just physical bodies with brains that can “think.” We are also souls imbued with everything we need to make that choice: a conscience, intuition, free will and the capability to observe our own thoughts and behaviors.

How can we develop and maintain a world view rooted in love? By beginning with self-observation, we become aware of individual contributions to the collective of humanity. Are we adding fear (negativity) or love (hopefulness)? We need to identify action steps that require daily attention to realize a loving mindset.
